You have to go there! Great date squares and scones. Lots of books, artwork and sculpture pieces to examine. Take the time and enjoy this place. Staff is excellent! !

Novel Tea is a welcome addition to Downtown Truro. Very nice varieties of teas and coffees, their loose teas I believe are their specialty but I love their coffee drinks. Bookstore as well with good support of both local authors and artists. You can see art from local artists displayed on their walls, although I am not sure if they handle purchases or if they just put you in touch with the artist. Small food and dessert selection, I particularly like their Samosas. Staff is always very friendly even if a bit overworked. Orders can take a while when everyone hits the counter at once, but they all smile through it and make sure they do their best with each order.
