  Needed a dog friendly place to rest our heads while at a lure coursing trial and found Berry's Motel at a much better price than others in the same area and booked it online. I liked that they didn't charge a fee for having our dog. Saw pictures of the place online but sometimes you can't really tell by pictures, and with the low price, had a "well, you get what you pay for, it's only for 1 night" thought in our head when we went to check in. We were very pleasantly surprised. Check in was super quick and easy, owner was very friendly and gave us all the info we needed (where to find the free coffee and ice) and the room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was also comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. It was the perfect spot to suit our needs for our overnight stay. After being in the car all day it was nice that it was also close to everything else (restaurants, grocery store etc) that we could walk instead of driving again to go for supper. I would certainly stay there again if need be!

  Arrived without a reservation and was lucky to get a room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not as nice as a hotel but I didn't need any extra amenities while passing through. Bed, shower, wifi, all you need.
